Best Suited To: The course can be interesting and challenging to intermediate golfers, but would really be suitable for beginners and advanced beginners to work on their game without getting in too much trouble.

Course Condition: Played the course in July 2009. The course is in good shape. The greens are in decent shape and interesting to play, based on pin placement.

The course is pretty wide open. There are several holes that will really tempt you to "cut the corner". Plenty of birdie opportunities if you successfully execute it. A few well placed bunkers also offer a challenge.

We played the course midday on a Saturday. Not too crowded. Didn't feel "pushed." We started playing just as a local group finished their tournament. Enjoyable experience. Met a few of the locals who mentioned that the course has improved quite a bit. Had lunch at the grill. Good food. $8.75 for Cheeseburger, chips and drink. Green fees $20 per player including cart. I believe Mon-Thursday $15. Good value for a casual round.

The course also has a full practice facility.

Staff: All of the staff that we interacted with were happy and helpful. The marshals are friendly and helpful as well, helping to spot balls and even giving us some tips on how to play the course since we were first timers.

Liked the Least: The cart path on the front nine needs some work.

Liked the Most: Helpful staff, especially Randy.

Overall Experience and Value: Monday through Thursday, play 18 holes for $15. Other than that, $20. Nice grill and spacious clubhouse. Open course for as little frustration as possible for beginners. Friendly and helpful staff. Good place to play on a regular basis with friends. Very affordable. We'll be back.
